Wir öffnen unsere Türen zum „Schnuppertag“

Nach zweijähriger Pause war es am 16.11.2022 endlich wieder soweit und wir öffneten unsere Türen zum „Schnuppertag“ um interessierten Jugendlichen einen Einblick in den Ausbildungs- und Produktionsablauf zu gewähren.

Bereits während der Hofer Ausbildungsmesse interessierten sich Ramona Zapf aus Hof und Stefanie Fischer aus Selbitz für unsere unterschiedlichen Ausbildungsangebote und nutzen jetzt die Gelegenheit die Berufe vor Ort kennenzulernen.

Nach einer kurzen Firmenvorstellung durch die Ausbilder und Auszubildenden startete der Mitmach-Tag in der Abteilung Qualitätssicherung.

In der sogenannten „Warenschau“ bewiesen Ramona und Stefanie ein gutes Auge und erkannten zielsicher alle Webfehler anhand von Beispielmustern.

Weiter ging es im hauseigenen Atelier. Dort gestalteten die Schülerinnen ein Stoffmuster in ihren Lieblingsfarben, welches sie später in der Produktion selbst weben durften. Spielerisch und ganz nebenbei erfuhren die beiden so Details zu den unterschiedlichen Berufsbildern und den Ausbildungsschwerpunkten.

Durch den Tag geführt wurden die Schülerinnen von unseren Azubis, die ihnen nicht nur mit Rat und Tat zur Seite standen, sondern zum Abschluss auch noch ein kleines Quiz veranstalteten. Stefanie Fischer ergatterte den Hauptgewinn, einen 100 EUR Elektronikgutschein, aber auch Ramona Zapf ging mit einem kuscheligen Trostpreis nicht leer aus.

Als Erinnerung an den Schnuppertag überreichten die Azubis den Mädchen zur Verabschiedung noch Taschen, welche aus dem Stoff gefertigt wurden, den sie zuvor selbst entworfen und gewebt hatten.

Ein Tag voller spannender textiler Einblicke bei dem Gebrüder Munzert hofft, ganz gemäß dem Motto „Der Stoff aus dem die Träume sind“ potentielle Nachwuchstalente gefunden zu haben.

AUSPROBIEREN, ERLEBEN, SELBERMACHEN! Unter diese Prämisse gewährt Gebrüder Munzert Jugendlichen immer wieder Einblick in die Vielfältigkeit der angebotenen Lehrberufe und hofft, so junge Nachwuchstalente für das in dritter Generation familiengeführte Unternehmen zu begeistern.

Gebrüder Munzert is once again taking part in the nationwide day of action and thus enables a detailed insight into the supposedly „boys affiliated“ job training of production mechanics.

Maike Suttner from Naila didn’t want to miss this opportunity on April 28th. Based on a special Girls‘ Day fabric design, she accompanied the entire creation process of a jacquard-woven textile – from the thread to the finished fabric.

The highlight of the production process was, of course, seeing the Girls‘ Day logo previously designed on the computer, to be actually woven on the loom. Maike diligently supported her guide for the day, Lina Horn (apprentice in the 1st year of training for product design), with the color selection for the fabric and the actual weaving process on the machine.
The student was also able to get an insight into other departments such as the design studio and quality control department. Especially in the fabric inspection, Maike showed a good eye and recognized all weaving errors based on sample patterns.

At the end, all participants gathered to reflect on the impressions of the day. As a token, Maike received a pencil case. Of course, it was made from the fabric that the student had previously woven herself.

A day full of exciting impressions and new experiences that will hopefully inspire Maike to take up a technical apprenticeship.
