Die Entwicklung ressourcenschonender Stoffe beginnt für GEBRÜDER MUNZERT mit der konzeptionellen Planung in der Designabteilung. Für die aktuelle ECO Next Level Kollektion stand dabei der Begriff „use less“ in seiner wundervollen Doppeldeutigkeit Pate. Denn was wir primär nicht einsetzen, müssen wir später auch nicht vor dem Müll bewahren. Entdecken Sie unsere neue Kollektion mit Stoffen aus bis zu 100% Recycling-Anteil!
Was bedeutet Nachhaltigkeit?
In der Entwicklung unserer SENSUS Textilien erlauben wir uns keine Abstriche in Sachen Optik, Haptik und Performance. Wir designen unter der Prämisse, dass unsere Stoffe immer einen belastbaren Mehrwert für den Nutzer generieren. So sind die Werte und Geschichten, die unsere Stoffe erzählen, genauso wichtige Zusatznutzen wie die Langlebigkeit unserer Produkte.

Tradition neu interpretiert
Das Land der aufgehenden Sonne inspiriert durch seine reichhaltige Kultur und erdende Schlichtheit schon seit Jahrtausenden mannigfaltige Wohntrends – sei es durch Farben, Formen oder traditionelle Handwerkstechniken wie die des Makramee. Diese aus dem Orient stammende Knüpfkunst versteht sich als Vorläufer der modernen Strick- und Webtechnik. Durch ein breites Spektrum an Knoten entstehen Ornamente, Schmuck und Einrichtungsgegenstände.
Dieses ursprüngliche Herstellungsverfahren dem Zeitgeist der Moderne anzupassen war die provokante Zielsetzung unserer Kreativabteilung. Denn wie der arabische Wortstamm „migramah“ schon sagt, handelt es sich im weitesten Sinne ums Weben – also muss es möglich sein, eine solch anmutige Pracht industriell reproduzierbar herzustellen.
Entstanden ist eine feinsinnige Neuinterpretation der Makramee-Technik mit den Eco Artikeln der SENSUS Linie.
Orient trifft Okzident
Mit Eco Dimension heben wir die Dreidimensionalität unserer Stoffe auf das nächste Level. Extravagante Jacquardoptiken in organischer Formensprache zeigen sich zugleich detailverliebt wie auch mysteriös. Die Textilien gleichen kostbaren Unikaten, die perfekt aufeinander abgestimmte Wohnwelten im Boho-Stil ermöglichen. Lebhafte Unikonstruktionen vervollständigen das leistungsstarke Produktsortiment und lassen sich nicht nur einfach kombinieren, sie bilden mit ihren unzähligen Farbnuancen auch die Basis für wohlige Rückzugsorte im Gleichklang mit der Natur.
Belastbares und gelebtes Upcycling
Alle unsere Eco-Stoffe bestehen aus 100 % Polyester und sind damit sortenrein. Sie können problemlos nach ihrem Leben als kostbares SENSUS-Textil erneut einem Rückgewinnungskreislauf zugeführt werden.
Artikel der SENSUS Linie sind gemäß Ökotex Standard 100 zertifiziert und folgen einer klaren Leitlinie: sie sind technisch herausragend, sensorisch angenehm und ökologisch wertvoll.
Die Eco-Kollektion besteht darüber hinaus noch zu mindestes 50 % aus recycelten Komponenten.

For GEBRÜDER MUNZERT, the development of resource efficient textiles starts with the conceptional planning in our design department. The term „use less“ with its nuanced ambiguity, inspired our brand new ECO Next Level collection, in a multi-faceted way. What does sustainability actually mean?
When considering and developing our new SENSUS collection, we did not compromise when it comes to the aesthetic of the design, the hand, or the performance of our fabrics. We wanted to create textile innovations under the premise that they should always be extraordinary. Being environmentally friendly while telling a sustainable story is as equally important to us as is the longevity of our products.
With ECO Next Level, we succeeded in the next step to complete our circular story!

Reinventing tradition
For thousands of years, the land of the rising sun has been inspiring a variety of trends with its rich culture and down to earth simplicity – be it through colors, shapes or traditional handicraft techniques such as macramé. The art of knotting, which originated in the Orient, is considered to be the precursor of modern day knitting and weaving techniques and uses a wide range of different knots to create elaborately designed decorations, ornaments, jewelry and furnishings.
Adapting this original manufacturing process to the spirit of modernity has been the provocative aim of our creative department, because as the Arabic origin of the word „migramah“ already implies, figuratively it is a matter of weaving – so the ambition for us was to industrially produce such graceful splendor, resulting in a subtle reinterpretation of the macramé technique with the Eco fabrics from the SENSUS line.
Orient meets Occident
With Eco Dimension we take three-dimensionality to the next level. Organic jacquard patterns are both detailed and mysterious at the same time. The unique articles allow for a perfectly color coordinated living environment in the boho-style. Vibrant one-of-a-kind solid constructions complete the high-performance product range. As with all of our developments, the essential merits and the good feeling of carefully shaping the future with consistent sustainability are most convincing attributes for our SENSUS textiles.
Round and round in circles
All of our Eco fabrics are made from 100% polyester and are therefore free from impurities. After their life as precious SENSUS textile, they can easily be restored into another recycling process.
Our constructions are in compliance with Ökotex Standard 100 and engineered according to firm principles: outstanding performance, sensorially pleasing and ecologically valuable – that’s what SENSUS stands for. The Eco line contains of at least 50% recycled components.
